Sunday School Classes

Teachers: Pat Stiles and Mike Hodges
Room: Church Library

The Pathfinders class is an adult group of men and women that like to read and study the Bible. Knowledge of the Bible is not required for attendance but we have open discussions of the meaning and application of the lesson to our lives today. Only requirement is to own a Bible and bring it with you.

Home Improvement Class

Teachers: Doug and Diane Oplinger
Room: 110

"If I had known that raising kids was this easy, I would have started sooner." No one has ever said that -- ever -- unless they wanted a laugh. That's what happens in the Home Improvement Class: We talk about the joys and the trials of family life, we share experiences, and we laugh a lot. A whole lot.

The class is geared to parents who are still raising kids. Real-life experiences shared in the context of Christian grace are energizing and reassuring. And because all are parents, we know that lives are busy. Come once a month, twice a month, or every week and you'll feel right at home

Seeking Focus

Teacher: Rotating Teachers
Room: 105

The "Seeking Focus" class meets to read and study the Bible. We try to stay on topic as we dig into the original context of a biblical book and explore the relevance of scripture for life today. We strive to be a Sunday School home for young adults, but we love to welcome people of all ages.

Friendship Class

Teachers: Rotating teachers

The Friendship Class is taught by four facilitators, one each week leading class and the discussion. We use many materials from the United Methodist Media Center or downloaded from the Internet which provide a video speaker/lesson on subjects relating to current life and living a Christian life. Many of these focus on better understanding the teaching of Jesus.

Youth Class

Teacher: Rotating Teachers
Room: 114

This class is designed for Youth in grades 9-12.
There is a Middle School class for grades 6-8 as well.
During these discussion-based class, we examine current events and how they impact our daily lives as Christians.

Children's Classes

We offer a variety of children's Sunday School classes for children of all ages.
